Giveaway terms
Organiser
The giveaways are organised by Markus Grigowski, …, e-mail: …. CS2Winner is not affiliated with Valve Corporation; Steam and Counter-Strike 2 are trademarks of Valve.
Free participation
Taking part is free. No purchase, deposit or bet is required, also not on any partner site. Credits for extra fields cannot be bought, transferred or paid out.
Who can take part
- Persons aged 18 or older (or the legal age in their country).
- With a Steam account that is at least 3 months old, has a public profile, Steam level 2 or higher, no VAC, community or trade ban, and owns CS2.
- With a valid Steam trade URL of the same account and after accepting these terms.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts, bots and other manipulation lead to exclusion.
Fields and draw
Each giveaway has a grid of fields. Every participant gets a number of free fields and can use credits for more, up to the limit shown for the giveaway. When all fields are taken – or at the end date, if one is set – one field is drawn.
The draw is provably fair: the hash of a secret seed is published at the start; the winning field is calculated from this seed and a public random value of the drand network that did not exist when the grid was full. Seed, random value and calculation are published on the verification page.
Winner check and delivery
Before delivery we check that the winner meets these terms. If not, or if the winner cannot be reached or the prize cannot be traded, the winner is disqualified and a new field is drawn with the next round of the same calculation.
The prize is sent as a Steam trade offer to the trade URL of the winning account. It must be accepted within 3 days. CS2Winner never asks for items, passwords or Steam Guard codes.
Exclusion and changes
We may exclude participants who break these terms. We may pause or cancel a giveaway for important reasons, e.g. technical problems or suspected manipulation; credits used in a cancelled giveaway are booked back.
Data protection
Which data we process for giveaways is described in the privacy policy. Your Steam name and avatar are shown on the fields you take.
